It's roughly 80 times stronger of a greenhouse gas than CO2, which is why burning it to expel tons of CO2 instead is considered more eco-friendly than releasing it into the atmosphere directly.

I wonder if that's how they make their carbon neutral formula work?

In 2014, I did such a similar system with a SFC and it takes a family of 5... To light a single public emergency light during 24hr (bio waste including food residues).
But I guess with the extension of most US Carrier tours (I don't mention the French one, you'd know why), more routinely requested to make rounds in dangerous waters for months and months, perhaps some crew would lift a small rocket out of the deck!

Anyway, certainly a good bar game to lift at least... the spirit

Methane is very much not dense. Its not as bad as hydrogen but will still require very oversized tanks to get anywhere usable. The concept they show only has enough tankage to demonstrate the concept, not to do anything useful.

OTOH the relative quantities involved make that like comparing stowage of small arms ammunition to stowage of mass amounts of aircraft ordnance.

Not wrong, but handling the LOX hoses is the same regardless of diameter. So it's much larger in quantity but the same in handling hazards. Obviously, mass quantities of LOX needs to be respected.

Your point? You are being pedantic. This VTOL bomber would at most travel at hypersonic speeds, mach 8 or so, not mach 25 return from orbit. Falcon booster is exactly the right comparison, not the upper stage
