Taliban jamming of US coms.

A couple of years ago I saw a documentary about a US aircraft carrier. In a interview a Hornet pilot said that the Taliban regularly tries to jam US comms.Aparantly they are quite succesfull and US aircraft sometimes experience hours of bad comms.Does anybody have any info on the subject. ???

I suspect that if it were true a few EA-6B flights or "other kitted" aircraft or UAS most likely dealt with the jammer source(s).
