For some reason this US programme seems to have eluded me, only refrence I have is International Defence Review 12/1990 a photo of Martin Mariett's contender was included in that article, while refernce was also made to enties by

Loral and Raytheon - offering an exteended version of 'saber' ??(please shed some light on that if you can)

Textron was putting forward AMPAWS (Airborne Multi-Purpose Attack Weapon)
