Some of his comments seem odd given that the USSR was working on this concept back in the late 70s/early 80s in the SS-NX-13. Also, Pershing II (which not surprisingly, this Chinese wonder-missile bares a striking resemblence to) had a manuevring RV back in the 80s.

Sorry, should've said "Terrier"... but as I wrote, those were "speculations". Nothing factual.

Interesting thing about the later "Terriers" is they looked virtually the same as RIM-67 so it would be easy to confuse them. (Yeah, I know one is a developement of the other.) BTW at one time they'd considered keeping the nuke Terriers around because they thought they might need them to deal with the SS-NX-13 (antiship SS-N-6). These days there are several missiles that wouldn't have a problem killing one but back then was another story.

I'm looking for drawings of the following unbuilt submarine designs

Project 667 SSGN which was intended to be armed with 3 Beriev P-100 strategic cruise missiles:

Please do not confound with Project 667 SSBN armed with 8 R-21 SLBM (SS-N-5 Sark according to NATO). That 667 SSBN project is described here:

Project 687 SSBN based on Project 705 SSN (NATO: Alfa) carrying R-27 SLBM or its R-27K anti-ship variant (that is very curious because I never heard before about an anti-ship SLBM)

Project 679 SSBN based on Project 671 SSN (NATO: Victor I) carring R-27 SLBM.

I found 667 at Steven Zaloga's "The Kremlin Nuclear Sword" while 687 and 689 are from Norman Polmar and KJ Moore "Cold War Submarines". All were cancelled to develop Project 667A Navaga (NATO: Yankee)

Or to explain a little more…as the link in the first post says "This unique weapon was a submarine-launched nuclear ballistic missile intended for the anti-ship role. During the 1960s, the USSR planned to use it against slow-moving convoys and CV battle groups."
