first,H-8 and the J-12 which was purely for parasite launching.
second,chinese J-12 zero length launch program.

In China,somebody think that H-8 is the right name of 1970s Chinese new bomber.
(and then,H-7 is the early name of JH-7,they think so.)

Would the parasite arrangement simply supply 'long loiter' without refuelling for 'patrol interceptors' ? Or, like USAF Goblin & Co., take on hostile fighters coming for the bombers ??

If that ventral can's a JATO, it suggests intention to hunt very, very high, very fast targets. Could it have got close enough to salvo SR-killers ??

1. My best understanding is that the parasite concept isn’t real but a exercise in creative art (i.e. for the purposes of this forum likely it’s a fake).
2. The parasite J-12 pictured also doesn’t feature the zero-launch rocket. So the parasite and the zero-launched J-12s pictured are seperate parallel concepts (both probably fake inventions) that don’t cross over with each other.
