SNECMA “Flat” engine

All Info I was able to gather: Diameter was only a hair under 1 meter, but length was far less than a 3rd of a meter. Performance figure met with a Thrust rating of 2,200 Kgf (4850 lbf).

I have scrambled to find more information about this jet engine, however no luck was spared.

Perchance anybody who knows something I don’t would like to add on?

Interesting. Any indication of a date? I've been looking into flat gas turbines off and on for a while. There was a few such projects in the UK including one in the 1950s and another in the 60s. The latter, from what I could find, was intended as an APU for AFVs of all things! The former was in the realms of flying discs.

That drawing (no chance of a higher resolution image I suppose?) reminds me of a third of which I only have a name and a description.

Only source I found mentions 1963 as the year, however I cannot find exact date or anything. I do apologize about the image, that was the only one I could find.
 
Am I following the airflow correctly? Intake around the outer perimeter at the bottom, then the air is compressed as it flows upwards, combustion at the top of the engine as the air turns over, and then flows back out towards the bottom center?

So the compressor and turbine are on the same discs, just different sections of the blades?
