Similar experience, similarly long time ago, but in the end, I was glad that the tree remained,
what it was, although with quite a large black blotch and several smaller branches heavily
burned ... standing below, without knowing at all, how to extinguish the fire about three meters
above my head was an unpleasant experience. Luckily, nobody snapped me ! ;D
