My latest short story deals with a secret AI weapon prototype. It's about a USAF Major with DoD R&D who is tasked with field-testing an intelligent targeting computer satellite-linked with an OICW prototype rifle, which starts questioning its own existence and human morality; a sort of philosophical commentary on modern AI, through the lens of a "forgotten" secret late-80s project.
