Secret Project 'remains' and where to see them

A new thread to try and list some of the 'remains' of projects that might not have flown but did leave some hardware behind (structure, mock ups, wind tunnel models etc.) and where to see them.

Format:

1) Project name, 2) What 'remains' are 3) Where they are.

Should be open to public view in some form, even if by appointment/special access only. Mark these (A) at the end if you can so no one wastes a visit!

What happened to the full-scale mock up of the A-12 Avenger II? For years this was rolled out at the Alliance Airport air shows and for all its bureaucratic follies, it would have been impressive to see in flight. I had heard that it was removed from storage at Alliance and was to have been part of a planned museum to house the B-36, but since that plane got moved out of the DFW area, I'd heard that the A-12 mockup was disassembled and in stored off site somewhere.

Last news I've heard is from 2002 - it was at USAF Plant No.4 at Fort Worth.

Last time I saw it, 2005 Carswell Field Open House, it was stored in a hanger there with the B-36. I have no idea what has happened to it since then.

The wing-fold mechanism that was planned for the Boeing 777 was in the back lot of the Museum of Flight's restoration center in Everett, Washington. I was last there in October 2003 and if you didn't know what to look for, you might think it was some sort of industrial jig. Luckily one of my friends volunteers there and pointed it out.

From what I recall, it was a full-size test article and when the wing-fold idea was dropped from 777, the hinge lock system was adopted with changes for the Dreamlifter.
