How does the propulsion of a sdfkz 254 saurer rk-7 work? It has both weels and tracks but it has only 1 engine.

The wheels crank down and engage for use on roads. The two systems are not used together, though with the right transmission nothing could actually stop you from building a vehicle that way.

Pictures of the Sd.Kfz. 254 are easy to find, for example here

Pictures/drawings/diagrams of the gear seem to be harder, but there's at least one book about it
from the "Nuts & Bolts" series, although it is a modellers series, so technicval diagrams are a bit
unlikely (prices start at 23.71 US $)
