its a tiny inertial system then. So I'm going to build something that jams it, when it asks 'where are we'........
 
The advantage of this system should be that you need far fewer position updates than current INS, so you should be able to run aircraft missions without having to update during the mission. Just stick it on the nav reference before takeoff, and you're good. No way to jam that.
Also, there are ways to update an INS that are very difficult to jam (taking star positions, for instance).
