Hi,There!We all know that the F-35 Block 3i can only carry two AIM-120s, and it is not until Block 3F that the certification for four AIM-120s is completed. So, what is the specific AIM-120 variant available for Block 3i — the C5 or the C7? As for why Block 3i can only carry two AIM-120s, is it because the certification testing for four AIM-120s (such as WDA) has not been conducted, but in theory, the software and the aircraft support it? Or is it that even in theory, the software does not support it?
