S-15 FREGATA
After completion of design works on the aircraft TS-11 Iskra the airframe team, led by prof. Tadeusz Sołtyk, M.Sc, developed several tender designs in OKL at WSK Okęcie, Among others a sketch project of the fast service aircraft TS-15 Fregata (fig. 332). The machine could take 12 passengers in passenger version, and a cargo of 1500 kg in transport version. Two SO-1 engines were to be used for propulsion. The designed plane was characterized by an impressive modern silhouette: wings with a strong oblique, Rudlicki tailplane and the engines located in the rear part of the fuselage.
