Hello,
I grew up just a few miles from Pillar Point Air Force Station, and still live pretty nearby. There are plenty of more recent photos of the site with the newer spherical radomes, but I'd love to see some photos of the old, large dish that was on the site. Strictly for nostalgia. So far internet image searching hasn't given me good results. Perhaps one of you folks know of a source of some older photos of the site. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't know what kind of radars used to be there (I don't know much about radars at all, honestly), but the main dish was much larger than any of the ones in the photo on the above link. There is now a 'golf ball' radome that is pretty good sized.
