Recently this photo appeared at LAAHS facebook site.
It's certainly no Junkers as Bernd Junkers mentioned in an email.
Any guess what type this is?
Am curious,

It rings a faint bell, but can't place it at the moment, sorry!
 
While the fuselage looks like one-seater version of Junkers A20, those wigs are completely different, too round and also too thick, and connected to the fuselage with struts. They look somewhat like from Breda Ba.27M, but too tthick even for that. Tail looks Junkers-y though.
