2) Less time to scramble fighters on a target airbase.

It would appear this new drone missile has already caused the Russians some serious problems. These drones may be behind the massive fire at a Russian oil-storage depot which they haven't been able to put out.

There are reports on sm that an example of Palyanytsya was shot down near the village of Kolodnoye in the Kursk region.

Russian sources claim that Palianytsia is rather the British Modini Dart 250EW kamikaze drone used to defeat radio emitting targets. They gutted one as seen on the images from the link below.

The Ukrainians said that they had invented a new Palyanitsa missile, but it turned out to be the British drone Dart 250EW.

The Dart 250EW is a British kamikaze attack drone developed by Modini, designed to combat electronic warfare systems, equipped with a terrain envelope and navigation system for precise targeting of radio sources, providing high speed and low—altitude flight to defeat electronic warfare systems.

The FX-2 flight controller allows the drone to detect, capture and aim at a target emitting radio waves. The Dart 250EW is equipped with a state-of-the-art terrain tracking system that allows the drone to maintain a relative height above ground level in the range of 50 to 100 meters.
