Since we can't unlock propulsion posts from aircraft prior aircraft
discussions, let me point at some in this new forum.

The JTF17 became the foundation for future composite engine cycle work done later
by P&W, as the GE4 did for GE (I will post more later).

Once upon a time, many a year ago, there was an aviation museum near Kissimee, FL that had the Boeing SST mockup. It also had a JTF17 engine. I don't know what happened to the museum or the engine but 'twas fascinating to study the engine.

I'm surprised it's maximum g-limits are so low: I'm guessing some inlet guide vanes would fix that?
