The XB-70 is one of the most beautiful aircraft ever built, and a dedicated photo book from Pen & Sword is highly anticipated.

Does this book have any material that isn't already in Valkyrie: North American's Mach 3 Superbomber? I read Simons's earlier book on the XB-70, and while a couple bits of new data I haven't seen elsewhere, it felt like a rehash of the Jenkins/Landis book, minus all the supplemental material about high-energy fuels, the F-108, nuclear-powered bombers, or the offensive and defensive systems intended for the operational aircraft. It wasn't bad but it basically treated the Valkyrie as essentially existing in a vacuum, when in reality the cancellation of the F-108 basically set in motion a train of events which eventually ended in the cancellation of the B-70.
