Yeap the Mirage Book was rather tasty and surprisinglly available from UK book sellers at the show. I had resereved one from teh Aviation Book Centre, told Paul and he did likewise and TSRJOE went and bought one as soon as we showed hin the book ;D.

Oh the one book missing from the photo is the 3rd Edition of "Project Cancelled" i gave to Paul as a way of thanks for the research he provides for the modelling and for the site as a whole

The 2nd edition was revised. I've bought the third edition and believe it's just a (unchanged) reprint of the 2nd. Who has the 2nd edition to compare with me the contents? Please, send a PM.

It appears to be a reprint of the second edition.

My copy is on the other side of the planet, but I bought it new in the 90's. The printer was Tri-service Press and the cover was gray. It featured sections on flying jeeps and large helicopters with cargo/utility pods that I hadn't seen in earlier editions.

i've got two copies of 'project cancelled'. the first, is a first edition, i think, it has a metallic silver cover, with a line drawing of what looks like a SO vautour on it. the publisher is bobbs-merrill. it doesn't have the chapters on the jumping jeep or the helicranes.
the other one is a second edition, the cover has colour illustrations taken from a TSR.2 brochure, and it _does_ have the jumping jeep and helicrane chapters.
i've also seen the third edition, this has a monochrome cover, with a picture of the P.1121 mockup on it. i didn't get it because the content appeared unchanged from the TSR.2 cover edition.
i can't give you any more information at the moment, as my library is still in store following my recent move. hope this helps,
