Moon Survey Ship

A rather large display model of the 'round-the-moon' ship proposed by von Braun and later rendered by Bonestell and other illustrators for magazines and books.

Vacuformed styrene, polyurethane cast detail parts, plywood structural parts. Worked out pretty good.

Commissioned by IBM. I got the job through Lee Stanton (an excellent model builder), job was coordinated by Fred Ordway.
