Here’s some great silent WWII footage of this and other Miles tandems from the UK National Aerospace Library YouTube channel that is new to me.

EDIT: Correction, there are drawings and still photos of the M.35 in the clip but the film in flight is of the twin-engined M.39B.

It's a Miles M.33 Monitor (word split by the image). Around 20 or so built and used mainly as target tugs.

I recently bought on eBay a folder document about Miles Libellula project: here the files I digitalized (hope you'll enjoy it).
In the pictures you can find even the drawings of Miles M.44 project: unfortunatly they are in bad conditions: if someone could restore it, I'll appreciate.

Did the pusher arrangement give problems ?
IIRC, several US pusher designs came to grief due long shaft and/or cooling issues...
