Michigan Steel Boat Co. Flying Fish of 1911

It acts more like a "penguin" than a full-fledged flying boat. It would be great for teaching new pilots the basics of handling FB on water.

After WW2, the USSR built a bunch of high-speed, river-ferries with similar configuration: hydrofoils under the bow, but the transom, rudder and propellers still in the water.
