Hey folks, MD Helicopters has rolled out the MD 564, keeping the trusted 500-series fuselage while adding a six-bladed main rotor, a four-bladed tail rotor, and a Rolls-Royce 250-C47E/3 engine with dual-channel FADEC.

The restricted forward view for the pilots is odd... Why would someone opt to do that?!! And then I still see riveted panels that could have been converted to CFRP for certainly cheaper...

Could it be the area behind the instrument panel anyway? FWIW, I don't think it improves the looks at all.
