German fighter jets head to Australian exercises for the first time
Germany's air force chief says the deployment is not sending "any threatening message" towards China and the planes will use civilian air traffic routes.

Luftwaffe makes first appearance at Exercise Pitch Black
A contingent from the German Air Force is scheduled to arrive in Australia mid-August for the Exercise, with more than 200 personnel taking part in the German military’s Rapid Pacific deployment.
