That would make sense and could stand as one of the most coveted aftermarket offer once deemed redundant by the JASDF. (think that numerous countries granted access to the F-35, and there is plenty out there, might want to up their fleet number with an airframe, larger than their 16, with lower sustainment cost* than an F-15EX but at a parity level in term of radar and EWS without the complication of stealth - exactly where the M2K should stand today).
