Lockheed flying boat study 1978

FR names it Seastar - but that was the name of the T-33 trainer development circa 1953.

It's a little unclear which derived from which. But the "Seastar" seems to have been a more civilianized version of the concept... at least the patent drawings show it as a passenger plane.

SeaStar was the USN TV2 (T-2) trainer (USAF T-33 derivative).

Ooops, sorry for this double posting ! Maybe because I still have
difficulties, to regard WIGs as aircraft !

But as far as I now have searched this forum, this Lockheed project
wasn't posted before, the Seastar catamaran flying boat, intended
as a kind of "flying frigate", but as an amphibious transport, too.
4- and 3-engined variants were shown in FlugRevue 1/1978.
