The obvious user kindly released some old manuals. Reportedly, they had issues with the AN/ARC-50 UHF radios, which they vehemently pushed into this bird, and the AN/ARN-52 TACAN, esp. in the air-to-air mode. Collins 618T HF rig was also used on board, and, if failed, the pilot was to abort the mission immediately. Birdwatcher provided automatic telemetry and distress transmissions to the HQ over HF. Nav. eqpt. consisted of the Collins DF-203 ADF, and unknown type of VOR/ILS and INS. XPDR was the Wilcox 914-X-1.
