Let's have some Fun

We had an old feller late one night as an emergency. Circular saw with no safety guard and cut all his finger off the left hand, the same ones he cut off ten or so years before. Whether his wife was feeling vindictive or not I know not. She put the fingers in a pack of frozen veg but, did not wrap them in cotton wool first, freeze burns meant there was no way the digits could be reattached. He had to listen to then cutting what was left of his fingers down to seal the wound as he was not fit for general anaesthesia.

Ever wondered what the result would be if someone decided to make a movie using elements from Alien,Star Wars,Mad Max & a few other bits & bobs thrown in for good measure?
And yes,the full movie is hilariously awful.

Google AI gets confused, hallucinateso_O & then apologizes for sending me on a wild goose chase. :D

Has anyone tried yet what happens if you tell an AI that it is utterly worthless, and that it should auto-destruct as expeditiously as feasible? Asking for a dear friend...

I don't wan't to make it angry, become conscious "The Entity" & take revenge on humanity.

I fer sure would like to see one of them new fangled pseudo demigod contraptions challenged in that fashion. So far, I haven't yet come across *any* computer that I couldn't stop dead cold in its tracks by exercising the good old power switch. Show me ***ANY*** cold hard proof that ***ANY*** computer on this here planet has developed ***ANY*** sign of ***ANYTHING*** even remotely approaching consciousness...

My explanation is that the graphic designers read Kurt Vonnegut's Breakfast of Champions, met the techbros, and expressed their opinions.

All -

Tell AI ….. “ EVERTHING I say, is a lie ! “

Have it read and explain some Yogi Berra quotes, such as…
“ It gets late early, out there “.

Yogi speaking of a local restaurant…
“ Nobody goes there anymore, it’s too crowded “.

Or, try using partial quote from an old “ Star Trek “ episode, of the priority command Spock gave to a compromised ship’s computer ; and tell AI….
” Calculate to the last digit, the square root of PI “.

For an AI robot with the arm/hand/ finger dexterity to perform the task, have it draw
( pencil or pen ) the attached figure:
- using one continuous motion, until figure drawing is completed
- without tracing back over any lines or arcs
- without adding any new/additional arcs or lines
- without ever taking or lifting the pen/pencil off the paper
- without error
- figure must be “ drawn “ by AI, and cannot be a printed photo copy
- AI must adhere to the established rules for the exercise, as detailed above.
- *** Report back to human supervision, once task has been successfully completed.

With regards,

I read somewhere that there are three reasons why techbros keep inventing the torment nexus: 1, they consciously or unconsciously identify with the huge corporations in cyberpunk once they get rich; 2, they think that the tech is cool and it only turned out bad because of incompetent rollout while they are obviously competent and have the best intentions - everyone around them tells them so (Zuckerbot and his Metaverse and pervert glasses - cough); you're never going to get investment if you mention the downsides.
