FBI's Kash goes undercoverground:

https://edition.cnn.com/2025/09/30/...ew-zealand-officials-3d-printed-guns-intl-hnk
"A spokesperson for the spy agencies described the gift as “a challenge coin display stand” that included the 3D-printed inoperable weapon “as part of the design.” The officials sought advice on the gifts the next day from the regulator that enforces New Zealand’s gun laws, Chambers said.

When the weapons were examined, it was discovered they were potentially operable.

“To ensure compliance with firearms laws, I instructed Police to retain and destroy them,” Chambers said."

Jeez.

Scottish Aye

100% Maybe True Scottish Stories

At 10:00 am this morning, Sunday 28th September 2025, the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon officially began, the course stretching from between Fort Augustus and Foyers all the way to Inverness. Thousands of human runners set off in the Marathon, 10K, and 5K races… while just beside them, the legendary Nessie Fun Run saw an entirely different field of competitors, cryptids and mythical creatures from every corner of the globe.

Nessie herself was spotted swimming the fun run route, technically using her own living room as the racetrack. While officials debated whether this counted as an unfair advantage, Bigfoot lumbered up to the start line in a pair of Crocs, convinced they were Scottish formal wear. He wasn’t the only one struggling, the Yeti, freshly arrived from the Himalayas, was already overheating in his kilt before the first mile marker, while the Chupacabra was ejected almost immediately for trying to “carb load” on a flock of local sheep.

Mothman flapped erratically down the course, pausing every few minutes to ominously warn competitors about non existent bridge collapses, while the Jersey Devil refused to follow the official path and was last seen charging through somebody’s back garden. The unicorns pranced magnificently until their glittery droppings caused a multi runner pile up, and the Kraken, signed up only for the swim, could not resist capsizing every safety boat in sight.

Spectators had their eardrums tested by the Banshee, who screamed her way past the halfway point, while a group of Navajo Skinwalkers kept confusing marshals by repeatedly transforming into Mo Farah. Above, the mighty Thunderbird circled menacingly, divebombing anyone who dared look too confident, and further down the course, Congo’s swamp dwelling dinosaur, Mokele Mbembe, strolled along as if it were a Sunday walk in the park.

Not all competitors fared well. Slenderman powered ahead with his suspiciously long stride but terrified half the children on the sidelines. The Hopkinsville Goblins, meanwhile, sprinted bravely in the wrong direction straight into the beer tent, and the Mongolian Death Worm dried out on the tarmac before reaching mile three. Spring heeled Jack bounded gleefully over entire sections of the route, occasionally setting fire to things “for old times’ sake,” while the Flatwoods Monster collapsed in a heap under his cape. Even Ogopogo, Canada’s bitter cousin of Nessie, was seen sulking at the edge of the loch, muttering about unfair home advantage.

As always, the Kelpies water stations proved treacherous, attempting drag joggers into the depths, instead of being handed a paper cup. The haggis relay team gave their best effort but were unable to run in a straight line thanks to their uneven legs, though officials awarded them “honorary medals for enthusiasm.”

By the time the Fun Run leaders approached Inverness, the true final obstacle emerged, a swarm of midges so dense they threatened to consume runners, cryptids, and spectators alike. Whether any cryptid competitor actually crossed the finish line remains unclear. What is clear, however, is that Scotland has once again hosted the most chaotic marathon in history.

Photograph taken 1/2 second after the starting pistol fired...the dejected look from the cryptids was due to Cocaine Pegasus having already crossed the finish line.

The next race was cancelled on account of the Tarrasque having eaten everyone.

I guess that’s one way to find out who will only be of use as menial labor.

The first to duck under will be a CEO.
The kids who escaped but returned will be first responders.
The kid who hit it with a fist will be a soldier.
The girl who just cried as everyone left—she’s a singer now.
And just like that, an early childhood professional aptitude test is born...
