Hey fellas,

First time poster, long time lurker.

I am interested in the TRACER project of the late 90s/early 2000s. I know two different consortiums produced the LANCER vehicle (US) and the SIKA (UK). It is hard to find pictures of these two prototypes, with actually the best ones being in that 40mm CTA PDF cycling through the interwebz for the past few years. I am also on the lookout for any concept pictures or informarion relating to earlier FRES concepts, when it was still primarily an air transportable tracked LAV requirement.

Thanks,

Tanner

What is the structure on the hull top, behind the turret?

Lazy !

It's the pack of sensors (Comanche's radar , FLIR with 70% more range than the Abrams ) , telescoped mast mounted
and the turret is unmanned .
The engine is hybrid electric/diesel with powerfull battery .The Lancer can roll silently on battery like submarines .
The tracks are made of rubber to roll also silently .

Interesting
