Hi! Hino No2 Aeroplane.
In 1911 (Meiji 44), Kumazo Hino, the Imperial Japanese Army Infantry Captain, began manufacturing an engine he designed himself, and in the training room of the Tokyo Army Technical School, a water-cooled 4-cylinder 30-horsepower engine (actually 18 horsepower) was completed. He installed this engine on the Hino No. 2 aeroplane that he designed himself. This plane could not take off due to lack of horsepower of the engine.
The specifications of the Hino No. 2 aeroplane are as follows.
Crw : One, Width : 9. 2m, Length : 5. 7m, Height : 2. 1m,
Empty weight : 170kg, Gross weight : 320kg
