Kriegsmarine Triple 20,3 cm Turret

Most people know about the german lack of affection for triple turrets, although they had build some 15 and 28cm triples. What startled me in a BA/MA findbook was this 1937/1938 20,3 cm turret. I had to order copies, and here they are. Even more interesting than the mount is: it was intended for which warship?

Did you ever find out anymore info on this turret? I'm interested in its weight specifically as I'm curious to know whether or not the Hippers could have taken 3 of these in lieu of their 4 twins.

No problem man. I'll cross post this to two other forums I'm on and see what else I can find. One is full of international ship modelers so maybe one of them can help shed some light on this design.
