Korea IL-2 is the upcoming fourth generation of the IL-2 Sturmovik flight simulators*, and it is slated for an early 2026 release. As the title suggests, it will take place in Korea, specifally in the 1951 period. However, the planned inclusion of carrier operations later on is a stepping stone to eventually going into the Pacific Theatre of WWII. The pre-order of the game is currently available, and the first gameplay reveal was released today. It is implied that the pre-order may have several things (like skins for example) that will not be available upon the regular release.

The aircraft included:
MiG-15bis
IL-10
Yak-9P
La-11 (Collector)
Tu-2 (AI)
Li-2 (AI)
F-86A-5
F-51D
F-80C
F-84E (Collector)
B-29 (AI)**
C-47 (AI)
Other aircraft (F4U-4, F9F, Meteor, etc.) are implied to be coming in a planned 2026 DLC, which some can "call dibs on" as part of the pre-order under the "Founders Edition".
*1st being the original series (2000s), 2nd being Cliffs of Dover, and the 3rd being Great Battles.
**Two versions are planned. One of these will be heavily detailed and modeled for smaller formations, and the other will be less heavily modeled (but still realistic) for large formations. This is to prevent computers from being "overloaded" due to the complexity of four-engine aircraft models in the modern simulator environment.
