Kjeller PK X-1 & X-2 Helicopters

Hi,

a well known Pre-WWII Norwegian company,the Kjeller,which built many
aircraft under license and had its own designs,after the war,it created the
PK X-1 two-seat lightweight helicopter and the PK X-2,a four-seat light helicopter prototypes.

About X-2 you can also read in a Samhold (Gjøvik) newspaper from 9th April 1960.

This is picture from this publication mentioned by me earlier (at least it is declared as source on this wikipedia wrap: https://lokalhistoriewiki.no/wiki/Fil:Helikopter_PK_X2.jpeg).

Actually I am surprised how little data and pictures surfaced on these helicopters to this date. The X-2 development process took at least 6 or 7 years up to the moment it was terminated.

Was there any Polish influence on this Norwegian helicopter?

I don't think so. But it is a bit similar in look to Mil's V-8 and Sikorsky S-62
