So, for an article in which none of the quotes from Israeli officials name Iran, the paper puts Iran in the headline? :rolleyes:
 
More over, presumably it is in polar LEO and so must pass over much of the earth.

The context is important. When Netanyahu says "enemies, near and far" that's a construction intended to reference Iran without explicitly naming it. It's not the first time they've used that phrasing.

It's actually an interesting echo of jihadist language, where the "near enemy" is the so-called apostate government of the jihadists' own countries, and the "far enemy" is Israel and, by extension, the West.

not quite polar. They have to launch due West, Ofek 11 ended up with an inclination of 142º, so it'll cover the equatorial regions up to 38º latitude.
