As we all wait for the next developments in Corona I found myself remembering the other man made disaster which fortunately did not get so out of hand: Chernobyl.
In some ways Chernobyl helped speed up the demise of the Soviet Union by underlining the need for Gorbachev's reforms.
Perhaps as we all endure the misery caused by Corona history might repeat itself....
