Indian M-MRCA Requirement

The range and loitering figures displayed 12:00 are quite strange.

A clever assumption would also have been for them to ask how much the IAF would pay on the market today for a similar package of performances (airframe and weapon systems) since this is at the heart of the polemic.

With all these hassles I'm surprised Dassault is still persevering with bidding for the post-MMRCA April 2018 RFI for 110 fighters, as the build locally problems haven't gone away.

Because they have sold fighter aircrafts to India since the 50's (Ouragan) and can't back down because the F-35 steamroller is now underway. Also Dassault is no big company and both business areas - bizjets and combat aircrafts - remain frail, notably after that all that Falcon 5X siliness.

Because they want to sell 57 Rafale Marine too to the Indian Navy and because they hope (right or wrong) that all that hype will disappear after the coming general election…

it's a freaking disaster (this and other markets). I wonder how the hell Mr Trappier hasn't resigned yet.
