Even in our days of steadily improved anti-virus software and firewalls there’s still the danger, that an email adress got hijacked,
either by malware copying the adress register or by integrating the computer into an illegal botnet. The result can be mails from well
known mail-adresses containing spam or, worse , malware.
A proven way of limiting this, is to start the subject line of each mail (which is recognizable for the recipient before openeing the mail)
with a mutually agreed indicator, for example the initials of the sender, or in our case maybe just “SPF”. If mails arrive without that indicator,
you still can make a query to the sender for confirmation, in the case it was just forgotten.

Is it time for us to get some of these: http://the-japan-news.com/news/article/0000114867
