Hesham, go to the link that you provided yourself and carefully read explanation once more.

Here is a chart that lists the various codes that are used by control towers to designate the various aircraft in short. I do not know the difference between "IATA" and "ICAO", but I suggest this topic do not go to waste and be renamed accordingly...

Put simply, here is the correspondence for Boeing models:

B703 = 707-300
B712 = 717
B721 = 727-100
B722 = 727-200
B731 = 737-100
B732 = 737-200
B733 = 737-300
B735 = 737-500
B736 = 737-600
B738 = 737-800
B739 = 737-900
B741 = 747-100
B742 = 747-200
B743 = 747-300
B744 = 747-400
B752 = 757-200
B753 = 757-300
B762 = 767-200
B763 = 767-300
B764 = 767-400
B772 = 777-200
B773 = 777-300

IATA - International Air Transportation Association
ICAO - International Civil Aviation Organization

These organizations are also responsible for the three and four-letter airport code assignments such as:

ICAO IATA
CDG LPFG - Charles De Gaulle Airport
KLAX LAX - Los Angeles International Airport
