It seems that at some point of her service life, Ocean was fitted with bulge-like structure aft:
The structure was certainly not present on the ship when launched:
Which calls for the the questions of when this was fitted, why and to what extent this structure (which most likely had to do something with stability or longitudinal strength of the hull) affected her speed, and why it wasn't better blended into the hull. And, of course, how it may look underwater.
