The armée de l'air received three He-162 around 1945. The AdA flown them until mid-48 to mass experience on future jets (Ouragan, Vampire, Espadon). The organization was called the CTAR - Centre de Transformation sur Avion a Reaction, = Jet OCU - in Mont de Marsan.
There were also some Me-262; in fact the last 262 to fly in the world flew in France on October 7 1948.
