Yesterday in a Spanish news network they talked about a sonic weapon allegedly used during the capture of Maduro. Today CNN reports on a "device" acquired by dark media during the previous administration that the U.S. Army had been studying for a year in connection with the inconvenience suffered by American officials during their service at the Havanna embassy.

Does anyone have additional information about these two cases?

Is there a relationship between the two or is it simply a Fake?.

Not sure what to think about this. Been hearing about it for several years but people saying it's fake, something else, etc. Then it was apparently "captured" from someone else before being used here. But then the effects described from Venezuela sound more like overpressure from an explosion than what has typically been associated with "Havana Syndrome".
 
This has been talked about on a podcast called "Mission Implausible" by two fmr. CIA officers (John Sipher, Jerry O'Shea) on a couple of occasions. It's been a while since I listened to these so the information may not be entirely up to date and my recollection is patchy.

I suspect they'll come back around to the subject due to these Venezuelan claims or other developments.
 
YouTube's algorithm brought me to this video. It's a channel I'm not familiar with but Michael Weiss, the interviewee, has good credentials and I've come to regard him as a diligent and persistent investigative reporter. I don't think they "explain" AHIs entirely but do a good job of connecting quite many dots.
