Gustav Victor Finger was a Czech aircraft designer and pioneer of his country's aviation. He also founded and built the aviation department of the Technical Museum in Czechoslovakia (then the Czech Kingdom).
In 1892 he began to think about a new aerodynamic aircraft and controllable Aerostat. He had plans to build an interesting twin disc system.
The principle consisted of a so-called Propulsor which was a cylindrical cavity in which it was placed propeller powered by a steam engine. The propulsion for the machine was by using the air column.
This basic principal was fully developed in the Italian experimental Stipa-Caproni in 1932, according to the museum notes.
Produced as a model only, a reproduction of which is in the NTM Prague.
