Geoffrey Wilde and unidentified model

In the Times obituary Sept 21st 2007 of Geoffrey Wilde of Rolls Royce there is a small picture of him holding a model that looks like some VTOL design.

Can anyone help identify the aircraft?

Looks similar to this concept for a VTOL ground attack a/c:

Wilde was also responsible for an interesting concept (US patent 4248041, think it may have been on SP) in which a high bypass engine's fan exhaust went through two simple turbojets. Low speed cruise, they windmilled; for high speed or VTOL, the jets were lit and provided a big thrust boost. A poor man's VCE.
The patent shows a VSTOL transport-type aircraft, but there was also a fighter design.

Considering GL Wilde's background at Derby (and the shape of those intakes), the Rolls-Royce concept seems most probable.
