Yes it was from French Battleships by Jordan and Dumas

Excellent book with many unbuilt projects and variants.

The title of this thread reminds me that probably the posting guidelines should include the advice to use a meaningful title when creating a thread.
Too many new posters try to be cute, or just show their cluelessness.
It's neither professional nor helpful.

Shouldn't posts on naval items should be named "SOS" instead?
Or using Morse code . . . — — — . . .
To be serious, appropriate title greatly enchance searching on forum.

I would be interested in French Gun projects of the pre WW2 post WW1 period if anybody knows any?
There is of course the 450mm Modéle 1918 and 1920 weapons but I know no others till the Dunkerque's 330mm Modéle 1931. These projects shows 305 and 406mm weapons.
Apart of course from the smaller calibre Crusier, Destroyer and AA weapons

That I've heard a non-official proposal or likely a wrongly represented proposal (Like the early No.13 drawings of the IJN ) of the data than avaiable.
Such Admital deFeo style arrangement (All main turrets on the center of the ship between the superstructures) were not studied by the MN only after 1930 with the emerge of the Richelieu class
