Via a friend at Cambridge university, merry Xmas!!!

Thought this might be of interest - the Whittle Power Jet Papers which chart the development of the turbo-jet engine during the Second World War have been digitised and are now available to view online at https://cudl.lib.cam.ac.uk/view/MS-WHITTLE-00001/1

According to the blurb, "The archive is mainly correspondence but there are a couple of diagrams towards the end, and it provides a unique insight into the challenges of developing a novel aircraft propulsion system, and from time to time illustrate the frustrations of a young and impatient inventor working with a large and rather staid manufacturing company."
