Here is a webpage containing an internal profile of the cancelled SSN, known initially as Q-244. The hull was later reused as the conventionally powered trials submarine, Gymnote with the penant number of Q-251.

AS only the front and the back of the hull could be used after the cancellation of the project, different possibilityies were evaluated:

- Built a classic SS (different projects)

or

- built an experimental ballistic missiles launcher submarine to validate the future missiles of the future french SSBN (only 2 vertical tubes on the port side of the hull) what will become Q-251 Gymnote
