You will hopefully understand that I'd prefer the real data, properly backed up by primary source(s) about the subject at hand.
 
I haven't seen a weight figure for the savings ever, BUT you could calculate the weight delta of all the other changes from A-4 to A-6 (A-5 is not well documented and a minor version). Guns, munitions, armour plate thickness, armoured glass thickness and so on. The remainder will be very close to the wing structural weight change.

I will not do that.
My opinion is that wing didn't got any lighter with the A-6, and it will stay so until someone proves it different.

The fellow member wants me to do his work, since he was 1st to declare that the A-6 have had a lighter wing - a claim that I challenged.
I'm not doing the other people's work.
