there were allot proposals with engine at top
like Constanin van Lent moon rockets

in realty that picture rocket hat just explode after liftoff
because the engineheat boils the fueltanks

This rocket ressembles the Poirier's project of the 1930's.

now there's an idea, use that pressure to force the fuel from the tanks to the engines, the 'self generating thermal pressure feed rocket', copyright Robunos 2009. ;D
