Did we have discussed about this book here? Seems to be highly recommended for non-Russian readers. I'll buy my copy next week to form an own impression. Anybody here who has it in his bookshelf?

I've been eyeing this up for a while, because I absolutely love the buran program and want a nice english source on the thing.
has anyone read this? Is it comprehensive and detailed for an english source?
Is it roughly equivalent to the space shuttle decision?

I've read it and I highly recommend it as maybe the better source for both politcal and technical information about the Buran shuttle.

Bart Hendrickx and Bert Vis did a great job delining the history of the VKK and furthermore there is a good insight of the various subsystems development.
